 There was a boy named Harry and he was out with friends. They started to get hungry and decided to go get lunch. They stopped at a Sushi shop and ordered some food. When they got their food they went to a park and sat on a bench Harry went to the bathroom and his friend Roy put something in Harry’s sushi.  When Harry came back he started eating the food. Everything was fine first but then he started feeling ill. He didn’t know what was going on and decided to go home to rest. He thought to himself “poisoning?”

 I was riding my bike up the track going home with a basket of fruit and three pumpkins. Everything was going good until my bike ran over a big rock and then flipped over. My basket tipped and all of the fruit and pumpkins fell out and went everywhere. One of the apples went over to the big hay bail. I picked it up and put it back in with the rest of the food I put back in the basket. I saw something pop out of the hay bail I put my head in to see...I got stuck.

 I was with Syifa, Ruby and Elexis one day and we got really bored so we decided we should go to the abandoned house around the corner tonight. We waited till dark and snuck out. We walked around the block and found the old house we walked in and turned on our flashlights. We looked around and saw so many old things. There were old pictures of the family who lived there previously then gradually things started to move.. We started freaking out and saw ghosts of the family in a bedroom. We ran out screaming and went back home.

It was the day of the school speeches every student had their speech in their hands. The judges called the first 3 people up, they sat on the chairs in the order they were called. The first person went up and started reading their speech when they were done they sat back down on the chair. The second person went up nervously and they were shaking. The teacher gave him a nod so they could deliver the speech but then something happened. He went bright red then the crowd erupted with laughter while pointing at him. His pants were wet…

We walked into the big red tent and found our seats. We had popcorn, glow sticks, and a lollie bag each. We face the front and there is a big circular stage with a little fence around it. Music was playing as we were waiting and the bright colourful circle lights were moving across the stage. People were talking and were on their phones waiting for the show to begin. We hear an announcement on the speaker and everyone goes quiet. The speaker says “there will only be 2 more minutes until the show begins!”. And then the show began… 

Term 2 reflection!

 1. What is one thing you have achieved this term you are proud of? 
I'm proud that I now get higher scores in basic facts now I get my scores in the 90's

2. What 3 things have I done to be IDEAL?
I have finished all my work on time- Daring to succeed.
I help my friends when they are stuck on a question- Act with respect.
I asked to help when im stuck on a question- Learn with purpose.

3. How have you contributed to the caring classroom environment of Room 13?  
I listen to people if they have something to say and I have helped others if they don't understand something. 

4. What is one goal you have, related to your learning, for the rest of the year in Room 13?
1 of my goals is to try get to the harder sheet in basic facts.

5. Think about the holidays - what is one thing you are really looking forward to? Why?
I'm excited to hangout with all my friends and see my family come down.

I was just sitting on the couch home alone watching YouTube. My parents are out with friends and my brother is at a sleepover. I go to get an ice block from the freezer and then turn on the tv. It starts getting colder so I go to my room to get changed into my hoodie and sweatpants. I go back to the lounge and hear a “bang!” in the kitchen. I tried to call mum but my phone died. I went to the kitchen to see if anyone was here . I looked in the kitchen then I saw it…
