100WC Week #36

I was walking through the forest trees leaned over me as I walked through. I step over twigs on the ground. The sun is hiding behind all the trees and the ground is damp. I'm here with no one and a breeze of wind hits my face. The trees and bushes are rustling. As I walk across the path I start to see the exit again but it's still a bit far away. I hear something behind me, twigs snap and I get scared. I thought I was alone. I heard talking and that's when I knew I should run...

  1. Hi Ella,
I enjoyed the sense of being on the spot with you there in the forest. Just be careful to stay in the same tense all the time when you write in this way as it can be confusing if you change from past to present. You created a clear image of the setting and you wrote through using all your senses. Well done.
